Kristen Geil is my new go-to copywriter. She specializes in health and wellness and outside of her day job as Chief Content Officer for aSweatLife, she does freelance writing. Kristen writes everything from websites, to blog posts, to social media content, and more (check out all the services on her website!)

When creating her branding we used a modern serif font as a base that, to her audience, will feel confident in its boldness and trustworthy in its organic curves. Detailed customization of the letterforms create a typographic logo completely unique to her. The contrast in line weights and unique shapes represent the adaptability Kristen offers in her services. And the upward angles incorporated throughout the letterforms not only portray the positivity in the empowering wellness practices she supports, but also allow for more space within the letter to represent her open-minded approach.

When it came to her website, Kristen wanted to keep things pretty simple and keep it on Squarespace. So we brought in developer, Erin Fitzsimmons, to help customize a template, rearranging section and layouts to work perfectly for Kristen and her new brand.

“I’m thrilled. It’s professional, yet warm, yet still unique. I also will be referring to the Style Guide as my Bible as I start to build out more materials for my clients, and I’m really proud to share everything you’ve done.

Christie constantly surprised me with how much thought and detail she put into everything. Listen, I had no idea just how much I was going to get — I thought like, a logo and some colors. She really exceeded my expectations and I loved diving into her tutorials where she explained exactly why she chose a certain thing beyond “it looks nice.” I also absolutely loved how organized she is.”
